Big Names at Stoke Park
We have had some exciting guests recently. Read more about who has been spotted on the estate.
In the last couple of weeks, our five star luxury has coaxed some familiar faces down to Stoke Park.
Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova, both past Boodles players, were here to film an upcoming TV advert (the details of which we can't mention but suffice to say it was fun to make) and enjoyed their time at Stoke Park, if this photo is anything to go by.
At the same time as Novak and Maria, we also had the Russian Olympic Tennis Team spend two weeks with us while they used our grass courts to prepare for their Olympic matches at SW19. It was great to see them all in action and we wish them the best of luck - especially Vera Zvonareva who will be defending the Bronze medal and aiming to improve on it.
The Russian players also attracted a high-profile spectator. Sergio Garcia dropped in to play a round and while he was here he stopped to watch them practice. He also took the time to sign a picture for the golf team, which you can now see in the Pro Shop.
Sergio wasn't the only famous face on the golf course, though. We had boybands a-plenty when JLS and One Direction both attended a golf day organised by their management. Harry Styles took the prize before they were joined for dinner by none other than Olly Murs. After dinner, the boys went out on the tiles in London.
