Responsibilities:

To ensure that the function rooms are set to the specific standards outlined by the Stoke Park Standards of Operations.

To Assist in the service of Food and Beverage, ensuring the presence of standards and consistency.

To Supervise conferences and banquets ensuring consistency in setup and the operation of the event and to be prepared to answer to the manager or assistant manager

To liase with the kitchen and the client to make sure that quality of the food is of the highest standard and that service runs on time.

To meet and greet the client, welcoming them to Stoke Park. To attend to every request of the client during their event.

To help the manager and assistant supervise up to 50 staff members, including casual staff and agency staff.

To delegate tasks to staff members, checking that instructions have been performed to the required request and pointing out where they have gone wrong if the need arises.

To get physically involved in set-ups, clear downs, service and function requests.

To attend any relevant meetings that the manager may ask you to attend.

To give detailed briefings to staff for events.

To have an understanding of F&B and be prepared to explain in detail to guests if the need arises.

To perform daily cash reconciliations.

To perform monthly staff meetings.
Criteria:
The role requires shift work, 40 hours per week to include bank holidays and weekends.
Skills:
To have supervisory experience within a 4/5 star property. To understand the demands of a busy environment and the service level which is expected.
