Welcome to our latest edition of Stoke Park's Members' Newsletter

This month, Stoke Park was lucky enough to be part of the celebrations for James Bond's 50th birthday. To mark half a century since the iconic spy exploded onto our screens in Dr. No, we played host to Bond girls Britt Ekland, Tania Mallet and Eunice Grayson as well as memorable villain Jaws (Richard Kiel). As well as familiar faces, there were cars which will forever be remembered for their association with Bond. Some of you may have spotted Auric Goldfinger's Rolls Royce Phantom, although this time it wasn't chauffeured by Oddjob, and the Aston Martin DBS from Quantam of Solace. We are very proud of our history, particularly our long association with the glamourous world of 007, and loved being part of this special event.

Olympic fever still seems to be going strong and the games have inspired people to try new sports or renew their interest in old ones. Three sports to have received an especially big boost are tennis, golf (which will be added for the next games in 2016) and cycling. We are very proud of both our golf and tennis facilities and are always committed to improving these. We are currently working on a world class short game area, which we hope you will enjoy along with our existing facilities.
