"Top 100 Courses You Must Play in The World" - Golf World
The Academy’s vision is to combine your golfing potential with our passion to improve your game. Coaching is tailored to the individual and delivered with proven lines of communication that raise awareness and skill levels. We aim to provide structured and progressive lessons that enhance long term development and ultimately your enjoyment of the game.
V1 Pro Video Analysis System
The latest high speed image technology is an important part of what we do and this is used extensively by the Head of Instruction. Video analysis allows you to see and understand the changes that need to be made. Where necessary lessons are documented and emailed (or burned to CD) with commentary to the student, making the effects of your time with us long lasting. Click here for more information.
Golf Health and Fitness
For the past 11 years the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) has been studying the best ball strikers on the planet and the impact of their body on the golf swing. Stoke Park is now utilising this research and knowledge to provide golf fitness screening, education and workout building programmes for serious golfers. Jules Baker, the Head of Fitness at Stoke Park is now a qualified TPI Instructor. He works closely with the professional team to develop unique golf specific fitness. Clients are referred to Jules for a screening before being given a personalised six week exercise programme. Alongside this, Stoke Park also offers a Chiropractor and Osteopath as part of this holistic approach.
Ladies and Foundation group classes are also on offer and form part of a popular alternative to individual lessons. These structured and progressive programmes are held throughout the year. The Foundation class provides an opportunity for new golfers (members and non-members) to get involved in this game.
At Stoke Park, we realise that junior golfers really are the future of the game and to promote this we are proud to offer a wide range of coaching programmes throughout the year. The popular Young Masters Golf (YMG) scheme provides a structured and progressive schedule for children aged 6 to 14, covering all aspects of the game from technique to rules and etiquette. Classes are divided into age and ability groups running through term-time in eight week sessions, three times a year. Alongside this are Easter, summer and half-term camps, where golf joins forces with tennis. These combined camps offer a great learning environment where two sports can be enjoyed in one day. Children don't need to be members or have their own equipment to take part as this can be provided.
