The Mansion
Originally the private home of the Penn family (founders of Pennsylvania), this Grade I Palladian Mansion was designed by the architect to King George III, James Wyatt, and completed in 1795. For more information about the estate's history, please click here.
Within the 50,000 square foot building are the Mansions 21 traditional bedrooms, main administration offices, golf changing rooms, Pro Shop, Humphry's fine dining restaurant, President's Bar, Orangery, Fountain Room, Wyatt Room, Ballroom, Penn Bar, Buckingham Room, Repton Room, Chalfont Room, Chapel, and Polo Lounge.
We have four electric car charging points. These operate on a trickle charge and are provided free of charge for members and hotel guests to use.
The Pavilion
Completed in 2002, the Pavilion comprises of a state of the art gymnasium, two studios, three indoor carpet, four all-weather, six grass tennis courts. An indoor swimming pool, Stoke Park Spa, steam rooms, changing rooms, San Marco restaurant, and supervised crèche and under eights' playroom. All hotel guests have access to these facilities.
In 2008, 28 new luxury contemporary bedrooms were launched along with the Garden lounge which it is situated on the first floor of the Pavilion. It has exquisite views of the gardens and the grass tennis courts with an airy and contemporary atmosphere, and caters for breakfast for the residents staying in the Pavilion.

Crèche
Stoke Park provides a creche service for hotel guests. Stoke Park Creche is operated by The Old Station Nursery Ltd, based within the grounds of Stoke Park. We aim to provide care for members' children and for visitors to the hotel with professional staff and continuous pursuit of excellence. We work closely with training providers and local child support services to ensure we are leaders in our field.
During creche sessions we offer a choice of activities, depending on the age of your child. We have arts and crafts, cooking, music and much more. For smaller babies, there is a quiet area, with treasure baskets and natural materials. For pre-school children we have a selection of games, puzzles, dolls and favourite toys. We also have a selection of toys for children aged between 5 and 8, as we offer some holiday and after-school sessions, depending on demand.

Stoke Park Spa

Golf Course
Encircling the club's 300 acre Buckinghamshire parkland estate, the famous 27 hole Championship golf course, is undisputedly one of the finest parkland courses in the country. Created in 1908 by eminent golf architect Harry Colt, the Stoke Park course has been the inspiration for many of the world’s most famous holes, including Augusta’s infamous 16th.
The course itself has seen many impressive rounds in its prestigious history, including the first PGA Matchplay tournament in 1910 and James Bond's epic golfing duel in the 1964 classic 007 movie 'Goldfinger'.
Stoke Park also offers fantastic practice facilties including putting green, driving range, short game area and our state-of-the-art swing studio. The Swing Studio is a real asset to what we offer at our 5 star facility. This indoor facility offers the best teaching and club fitting technology, allowing for a truly interactive golf lesson where swings can be viewed immediately on the plasma screens enhanced by the latest V1 software. Pupils can hit out onto the driving range or in severe conditions or low light into a net. Gone are the days of cancelling a golf lesson due to poor weather. Bookings are made in exactly the same way, we look forward to you experiencing this brilliant learning environment soon.
V1 Pro Video Analysis
The latest high speed image technology is an important part of what we do and this is used extensively by the Head of Instruction. Video analysis allows you to see and understand the changes that need to be made. Where necessary lessons are documented and emailed (or burned to CD) with commentary to the student, making the effects of your time with us long lasting.
Tennis Facilities
The Club has 13 tennis courts: three indoor courts, six grass courts (Wimbledon specification) and four outdoor all-weather courts. Stoke Park has full time LTA coaches who teach at every level on an individual and group basis and are in attendance at all the club sessions.
We offer a professional and comprehensive test racquet and re-stringing service.
Fitness Facilities
Fitness facilities include a state-of-the-art 4,500 sq.ft. gymnasium with the latest Technogym equipment, including personal televisions on all cardio machines and the newly launched flexi-lin stretching machines. You will be given your very own Technogym memory stick key for your programme. A new spinning studio has just been opened. The gymnasium and the studio have superb views over the gardens.
