Head Chef Chris Wheeler
A member of Craft Guild of Chefs, Chris joined Stoke Park in 2003. His impressive culinary background includes the role of Group Head Chef and right-hand men to French chef Jean Christophe Novelli. With Novelli, Chris has worked in various Michelin-star restaurants and in 2005, Novelli invited Chris to appear with him on TV's Hell's Kitchen.
Chris pays close attention to only using quality ingredients that are local, fresh and seasonal and has been delighting guests with his innovative take on British cuisine with European influences. Humphry's, our fine dining restaurant, holds 3 AA Rosettes due to his outstanding cuisine and service.

Classes, which last 1 hr 30 mins, can include either one of the following, or a combination of the below:
• How to prepare the perfect three course meal
• Cake Decorating
• Sorbet Tasting
• Chocolate Workshop
• Making the perfect starter
• Bread Making
These involve demonstrations from Chris and hands on activities.

Bread Making Course
The Bread Making Course lasts 1 hour 30 mins, and explores the process of making different types of bread and a fun look back at the History of Bread making.
The course includes:
• How to make bread using two method types: Sourdough and Yeast
• History of Bread ( includes some fun baker’s tales!)
• Moulding of the bread ( how different shapes relate to different meanings, religions etc)
• Process of Cooking – make your own loaf
• The science side- how does it all work
• Speciality Breads
• Bread tasting and a loaf to take home!
