James joined Stoke Park as a full-time golf coach in March 2013.

Having completed the University of Birmingham degree in Applied Golf Management Studies to obtain his PGA Professional status in 2006, he moved abroad to work as a coach with the David Leadbetter Golf Academy network.

He has worked in Austria, Florida and Spain coaching all levels of golfer from beginners to elite juniors to tour professionals and has enjoyed each one of these challenges.

He has also offered swing analysis at a number of corporate golf days across Europe which has allowed him to assist numerous touring professionals including Colin Montgomerie, Ian Woosnam, and Annika Sorenstam.

He understands that technically correct fundamentals are a huge part of playing golf well, but also believes that golf is mainly a natural game and we should utilise our inherent, natural skill-set to help with golf-specific tasks.
