With the first Grand Slam of the 2012 season completed down in Melbourne, it has been a pleasure to see previous Boodles participants make their mark at The Australian Open. This past Sunday saw Boodles regular and Stoke Park favorite Novak Djokovic defy the odds to overcome Spaniard Rafael Nadal in the longest Grand Slam final in history. After six hours of incredible drama in Melbourne, Novak fought his way through the pain barrier to lift his fifth Grand Slam title. All this less than forty eight hours after coming through an equally enthralling five hour marathon with another Boodles favorite, British Number 1 Andy Murray, on Fridays semi final.
For the past ten years, The Boodles has been attracting the world's tennis elite to play in the most exclusive, intimate and luxurious grass court tournament of the summer season. Set within the beautiful grounds of Stoke Park, the tournament combines world class tennis with a quintessentially English summer garden party.
