Covid-19 Club Updates
Welcome to our COVID-19 information page. Please note we will update this page as we receive further information and guidelines from the Government.
We are delighted to confirm that Stoke Park will be reopening the golf course to its Golf Members and Member Guests only from Monday, 29th March 2021. No visitor play will be permitted until further notice. We understand that play will be able to reconvene in 4-balls from this date and we intend to get straight back to business in terms of all Roll-Ups and Competitions with immediate effect. Much like last year, we will be guided by the constraints in place at the time and therefore matches and post event food will be considered in accordance to what is possible. We will advise as we go.
From Monday, 1st March, the IG online facility for general tee times will re-open and the 28-day booking policy will be resumed. Please note that from previous experience, the high demand of bookings may cause the site to crash. We hope this isn't the case however, should you require assistance in making a reservation, the Golf Office will be available to take calls on limited hours, Monday – Friday from next week onwards:
Also, from Monday, 1st March, you will be able to sign up for Roll-Ups and Competitions on IG under the same conditions as we previously had in place. We are aware demand will be high for the first few months and have therefore allocated extra slots to cater for this scenario.
Bag Store Service
For those who currently use this facility, this will be fully operational from Monday, 29th March.
Golf Changing Room Access
Please note that that access to WC's and lockers are permitted from Monday, 29th March. The use of the showering facilities will however be out of bounds until further notice.
All ground floor areas of the Mansion will be closed until such time we are given the green light to re-open them. The Reception Team are accessible should you wish to make a levy payment top up. This can also be done via the Pro Shop when retail reopens.
Pro Shop Re-Opens on 12th April
Providing the Government does not change its plans on the reopening of non-essential retail, the Pro Shop will open for custom on Monday, 12th April.
The Halfway House
will re-open on Monday, 29th March from 07.30 until dusk, 7-days per week offering takeaways food and drinks.
Halfway House toilets will be checked and sanitised regularly throughout the day.
Please note the following:
Holes 1 – 9 remain closed due to renovation works. We anticipate 1 – 9 re-opening at the earliest, beginning of May
Holes 10 – 27 will be the only course available to play until further notice
No visitor play will be permitted until further notice
If you book as a single player or 2-ball, we may add further golfers to your booking to maximise the availability on the course
Social Distancing Reminder
As before, we ask that you adhere to strict social distancing measures at all times and to kindly respect fellow members and members of staff by keeping sufficient distance. We still have a long way to go before seeing the back of Covid.
Hand sanitising stations remain in place throughout the Club.
All Covid restrictions will be implemented in accordance with the Government Guidelines.
Further updates will be available in the coming weeks and the front-page news of Intelligent Golf will also contain the most up to date information.
We are delighted to be able to open our Outdoor Tennis and Padel courts on the 29th March for our Tennis & Padel Members. If all goes to plan with the Governments road map, we will then be opening the Gym, Indoor Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool and Hot Tub on the 12thApril for all our Health Members.
The plan for the opening for the Clay and Padel courts is as follows:
- Courts will be available to book from the 22nd March - 9am-2pm each day - Amy will be on site to take bookings.
- Courts will be open from 8am-8pm each day.
- Singles play is allowed.
- Doubles play is allowed.
- The rule of 6 applies.
- 1:1 coaching is allowed.
- Group activity for Children & Adults is allowed so this will include roll ups, team practice and Easter kids camps – Amy will be in touch with further information for you.
- Adults and Children's competitions are allowed, again Amy will be in touch with information on matches.
- We please ask that you all still follow the Government advice on social distancing, mask wearing and hand sanitising.
From when the courts open on the 29th March, the Pavilion will still remain closed. Toilets will be available at the Halfway House which will also be open for take away snacks and drinks.
Please check in for your courts through the open window at Spa Reception, you can also top up your levy here and pay for lessons. There will be one person on the desk each day so please be patient with phone calls.
If the Government timeline stays as it is, we will be able to open the Gym, Pool, Hot tub and Indoor courts from the 12th April. Unfortunately we won't be allowed to offer classes at this time but we will offer outdoor classes where we can, weather permitting. We will be in contact nearer the time confirming exactly what we will be offering but we see it being the same operation in the club as before we had to close our doors.
The booking process for the Gym, Swimming Pool and outdoor classes will remain in place and if dates stay the same for opening, these will be available to book from Sunday 11th April.
San Marco, weather permitting, will offer a take away service or outside seating option from the 12th April and then indoors hopefully from the 17th May, along with the Hotel and Spa.
HOTEL, SPA & RESTAURANTS
We are delighted that, based on the Government's roadmap announced on 22nd February, that the Hotel, Spa and our Restaurants should be reopening on Monday 17th May.
Certain restrictions will be in place, and therefore the below is in effect from 17th May – 21st June.
The below may still be in effect after 21st June, if guidelines are extended.
It is with regret that the following facilities and services are not currently available:

It is essential that you pre-book any activities that you wish to enjoy while at Stoke Park. This includes restaurants, spa treatments, golf, tennis and Kid's Club.
We have also implemented a bookings system for the pool and gym. You are permitted to pre-book one slot per person ahead of time. Extra slots (e.g. on your 2nd or 3rd night) can be booked once you are here on a first come first serve basis.
