The Role:

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced Event Sales Co-ordinator to join the team at Stoke Park. As Event Sales Co-ordinator, you will:

  • Work with our meetings, events, golf and special occasion clients at a 5 Red Star level
  • Be responsible for the planning and coordination of events providing an efficient and personal service at all times.
  • Be targeted on revenue sales with various objectives introduced throughout the financial year, which will not only be revenue-based but also task-based.

This is to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in an event sales environment
  • Exceptional sales techniques, both on the telephone and in person
  • Knowledge of golf, along with 5 Star property experience is preferable
  • Strong typing ability and telephone manner

Role Description for External Golf Services:
An amazing opportunity has arisen within our External Golf team for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and confident to work as part of a team in our busy golf department. As External Golf Services you will:

  • Assist in the operation of the external golf services available to members and guests of Stoke Park.
  • follow the policies and practices of the Golf Department and maintain high standards of service at all times.
  • Ensure the practice area and putting green is kept clean and tidy at all times, ensuring baskets are available for the range balls.
  • Ensure the golf bag drop off area is efficiently run, taking customers golf bags and luggage from their vehicles
  • Ensure the buggy fleet is available for hire at all times. Buggies must be clean and tidy, and ready for use at 7.30am.
  • Assist the Starter in the daily operation of the 27-hole golf course within the guidelines and tee system set out by the club management

The role is a bank worker position from March - October.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • A passion for Golf
  • Experience of working at a golf club or in a golf shop would be useful

Role Description:

We have a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Sous Chef to join our Executive Chef, Chris Wheeler, with the running of Humphry's our Fine Dining 3 AA Rosette restaurant. As Senior Sous you will:

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to prepare top class cuisine/dishes using fresh local ingredients.
  • Oversee the kitchen to include freshness of ingredients, level of staffing, mis en place.
  • Assist with menu writing and dish creating
  • Assist in maintaining a professional level in each kitchen adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
  • Assist and prepare the day to day ordering for the kitchen.
  • Assist the Executive Chef with in-house PR and Sauce Communication (i.e. recipes, Press Trips etc) 
  • Ensure that the section is set for service.
  • The Senior Sous Chef will also help in working towards achieving a Michelin Star and 4 AA Rosettes.
  • Be a ‘hands on’ presence during service as and when required.


Required Experience:

  • Thrives on working in a fast-paced environment
  • Handles pressure calmly and professionally
  • Previous experience of working in a similar rosette-accredited environment along with a passion for food

Role Description:
As the Commis Chef you will:

  • Assist the Executive Chef, Chris Wheeler, and kitchen brigade in retaining the 5 Red Star standard.
  • Be preparing top class cuisine/dishes using fresh local ingredients

The role requires shift work 45 hours per week to include bank holidays and weekends

Role Description:

An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join the Kitchen brigade at Stoke Park working in all kitchens. As Junior Sous Chef, you will:

  • Assist the Executive Chef, Chris Wheeler, and Sous Chefs in retaining the 5 Red Star standard.
  • Assist in preparing top class cuisine for using fresh local ingredients.
  • Assist with HACCP and Health and Safety procedures.
  • Ensuring freshness of ingredients, mis en place as well as helping ensure that each outlet is ready for service.

 

Required Experience for the Junior Sous Chef :

  • Experience in a 5 Star property or high volume outlet
  • Knowledge of HACCP and Health and Safety procedures
  • Thrives on working in a fast-paced environment
  • Handles pressure calmly and professionally
  • Applications should be committed to the highest standards of cuisine, presentation and food preparation.
  • Relevant experience gained in a similar environment is desirable.
